Questions people ask us.
Founders Who Ship is a community in the UAE for founders who build with AI. Here’s how it works.
What is Founders Who Ship?
A private community for founders in the UAE who build with AI. We started on WhatsApp on 23 September 2026 and 17 founders joined on day one. It’s not an accelerator, a course or a pitch night. It’s a room of people who are actually building, helping each other get further.
Who is it for?
People who have shipped something with AI themselves. A product people can use counts, and so does a demo, repo or prototype you built. Most members are solo founders or tiny teams. Some build full-time, some after work.
Where is it?
Most of us are in Dubai, with members in Abu Dhabi too. The group chat runs every day on WhatsApp, and we meet in person in Dubai.
How do I join?
Apply and show us what you’ve built. If it’s not the right time yet, you can reapply once there’s something to show. If you’re already in the WhatsApp group, set up your profile at founderswhoship.com/join. Apply to join →
Does it cost anything?
Not right now. Membership is free, and paid membership starts on 1 December 2026.
What happens once I’m in?
You say hello in Intros and people say hello back. Every Monday you get three founders worth meeting. Every Friday in Show & Ship, everyone posts what they shipped that week, however small. Need help? Ask in WhatsApp, someone’s probably been there.
What are the events like?
Every Thursday a few of us work side by side at 6.8 Cafe in Al Quoz, 10am – 4pm. No agenda, no talks. We also run members’ nights and working sessions in Dubai. Each one gets its own page on the site. Weekly coworking →
Can I follow along without joining?
Yes. The newsletter goes out every Friday: what members shipped, what’s working and upcoming events. Get the newsletter →
